Unfortunately, my hard drive had a minor failure, and it didn't want to start up.
On the bright side, I did get to downgrade quicktime since I had to completely reinstall leopard.
Anyway, I reinstalled Final Cut, and I tried to open up an application from a while ago, but it said that that file was opened with a newer version of Final Cut Pro. Now, I'm aware that this happens, that's not my question.
My question is, if I already did the latest software updates and everything, how come my Final Cut Pro is still stuck at 6.0?
MacBook Pro, 17", 2.16GHz, 2GB RAM, 100GB 7200rpm HD
FCS2, FCP 6.0.
could it be that my quicktime isn't up to date? I'm purposefully keeping it at 7.2.1 since I'm using P2 and After effects, so 7.3 and 7.4 are out of the question.
Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated, guys.
