Final Cut Pro Movie for export to Compressor

I wanted to know about using "Final Cut Pro Movie" as an export method to Compressor. In short, does this method compress the footage more from the original footage in FCP, thus, do you lose any information this way? Why would going directly from FCP to Compressor in FCP 4 have a higher quality? I read this in an article here.

I just want to make sure in FCP 3 with Compressor that using Final Cut Pro Movie files for export still preserves my original quality with my footage - i.e. I don't lose anything from the original clips.

Thanks

733 mhz, superdrive, 400gb hard drives, 1gb ram, FCP 3.0.4, DVDSP 2, Compressor 1.2.1 (?) but not version 2.

FCP Movie option is non-compressed -- same as original footage.

edit: You might see us talking about exporting as Quicktime Movie... this option has changed in v4... same thing, just name change.
