I have final cut pro 4 and when I go to apple you can download updates for final cut pro HD. When I downloaded the updates the manager puts them on my desktop. How do I import them into my fcp4 icons in my applications folder? Sorry for such a lame question, but am new to all of this and would like to get it right the first time. Thanks in advance for any assistance you could provide.

I did it quite awhile ago, but I believe you load it like any other software. When you click on the HD file it will launch the installer program and you just have to point it to the drive FCP is on. Once you install the serial number you are good to go.
