Hey I'm currently using final cut pro and messed around with editing a 24p project. My question is many people say to set your timeline through easy setup and choose the 24p advanced pulldown; however,I find this gives me some almost laggy results when I drag footage into timeline. But when I set easy setup to NTSC-24p (23.98) it seems to fix problem. So my question is am I still getting true 24p when I set up NTSC-24p or is it only true for advanced pulldown? Also should I even be shooting in 24p advanced? Or in just 24p. I heard from people if you go to fim then shoot 24pa, but if not use 24p .
