did you buy it legally? if you did: go to your mac HD, then go to apps/utilitys/disk utility and click repair all permissions. if that didn't work, i would suggest trashing final cut pro preferances. look on google for how to do this as i've gotta run right now. if it is not bought legally, you're out of luck because thats the reason it keeps quitting.
