I am having an audio problem in Final Cut Express 3.5 after i am done capturing a clip i get a window that pops ups and gives me this message that says:

" the audio sample rate of one or more of your captured media files does not match the sample rate on your source tape. this may cause video and audio of these media files to be out of sync. Make sure the audio sample rate of your capture preset matches the sample rate of your tape"

if anybody knows how to fix please let me know thanks.

Easy, change the audio rate of your Sequence. Make sure it matches the tape you're capturing from. Verify it by checking the camera settings and your Sequence settings and comparing them twice. The most common cause of audio drift in video files in FCP is due to tapes that recorded sound at lower sample rate than the standard 48kHz you Sequence is probably set to.
