Hi Guys and girls.
I have a quick question regarding quality and out put and compression please.
I need to create a SD DVD,
I have recorded footage using HVX200 DVDPRO HD 1080 progressive,
placed the footage on a sequence with the following settings,
Frame Size 1440X1080
Pixel Aspect Ratio 1440X1080
Compression DVCPRO HD 1080 P25
I have rendered and sent the timeline to compressor and chosen the Best quality 90 minute MPEG 2 settings and increased the bit rate as high as I can,
compressed then imported into DVD studio pro, then created a very simple DVD and burnt the disk.
The estimated size after compression is 401 meg from a file that originally is 6.2 GB.
The question is, the final DVD quality is ok I guess, nothing amazing and was wondering if there is another way of doing this, or perhaps I have missed something out or just being a little silly with settings?
Many many thanks
Indy
