Filters not showing in FCP 5

I have a problem which I just can't seem to solve.
I have just upgraded my Mac and have been re-installing the software. Everything has gone fine until I have been installing some FCP filters. Some of them install OK but when I open FCP 5.1.2 they don't show up in the filters tab. I can see them in the plugins directory, but it says they are a Toast Titanium document. WTF?

Clicking on an individual filter opens Toats Titanium. The filters are grey with the word "exec" on the left top corner.

So how do I solve this problem?
HELP!

After Effects based filters don't work in FCP 5.1.x, you're SOL on those. Since FCP 5.1 runs on Intel Macs as well, and there is no API for AE plugins for Intel based Macs, it can't be done without using Rosetta, which would mess up all kinds of other things performance wise. So they left it out of all the code, even though it could've worked on PPC based Macs, in order to have a consistent application.

One of them is Digital Film Tools 55mm for FCP. Also Psunami. I guess its because I have now gone onto an intel quad Mac thats the problem. Just been over to their support pages and need to change to the new version. Same with Digital Anarchy plugins.

Thanks for the advice Mike. Thought it had to be something staring me in the face!
