Filters not functioning? HELP PLEASE!

Hey all,

This might sound stupid but I can't get the filters to work for my Vegas 5.0 now. They worked before but nothing happens when I apply and adjust the settings for filters (such as brightness and contrast, colour correction). Can anyone help me... did I turn a switch off or something? I need to know ASAP for a show I'm editing right now.

Also, how do you add keyframes to adjust the level of an audio track so that I can lower and increase the volume when needed?

Check your preview window – the button above it with the circle inside the square. Look to see if “Bypass All” is checked. Uncheck it.

Right-click on the track and choose “envelopes.” You want a volume envelope.

Is there a way to hear frame by frame audio scrubbing?

I know about the JKL but that just keeps the audio going but I need to be able to stop and hear frame by frame.

Any ideas?

The cursor keys will advance frame-by-frame if your timeline is expanded enough. Don't know if you get the audio, though.

You can select a one-frame region and play only the region.
