Starting a new thread to hopefully get clarification. Here is an easy one for the more experienced. I haven't been able to discern the right answer on the other posts so I have to ask:
I just bought an HVX and I guess my first concern is protecting the lens . As to a lens protecting filter, I want something I can put on the camera and leave it on, whether indoor, outdoor, day or night. Which one? If this is impracticlal, let me know. Do I need a different filter for daylight (polarizing) UV, and one for low light (clear)? I am fine with both a clear lense and a uv for outdoors if this what is necessary, just not sure.
Danny Dale recommends this one for UV protetion

Justin Marx recommends (which seems to be a more all purpose filter):

Let me know what I should grab to keep the lens on the camera protected. thanks for the info.
