Filter Kits for DVx100

[DarkOne]

Anyone know where I can get a great deal on 4x4 filter sets for the DVX? I would like to be able to buy filters seperately as well as a kit. Also, which filters give you the best bang for your buck? I am looking for online resources that sell square pro mists, polarizers, etc.
I wil be using these filters in conjuction with a Matte Box that holds 4x4's.

Thanks.

Re: Filter Kits for DVx100

Hi,

Well I heard that Schneider has a good DV Start Kit for $329 at B&HPhoto.  Schneider is top quality glass.

If that is too expensive, you can get a set of five 4x4 glass filters from Cavision for around $200 or $50 each.  Not sure of the quality of these, but definately affordable.

True that is a great deal on a filter set, you would essentially be getting the Black Frost 1/2 for free, ;D if you count the individual prices of the other two filters. Great glass, we have it in all our rental kits.

Aha, same price at EVS and they have the DVXUser discount.

will 3inch by 3 inch glass filter cover the front of a dvx100a lens surface when the camera is at wide angle?
I have an offer to take some filters and use they .
They are 3x3 .
Most folks here are referring to 4x4 .
Thanks for a reply
