Ran across article (old news I'm sure) of a film called November Directed by Greg Harrison that I hear was shot with the DVX. Heres a picture from the website [ftp]http://www.indigent.net/[/ftp]

Is it a Framegrab? I hope. It looks good.

On the site, there is another film that has been done (or in Production) called "Land of Plenty" and it too says it was shot with the DVX PAL.

Yet another film titled PIZZA shot with the DVX. Anyway...

Just thought I'd POST this.

Re: Films shot with DVX?

Yes, that is shot on the DVX, that actress is courtney cox and the DP is a woman named Nancy Schreiber. There is about a 2 minute blurb on it with some behind the scenes on the Birns and Sawyer DVD.

Re: Films shot with DVX?

Hi John

I worked on a fairly large production in Vancouver this summer called the Final Cut (Could be working name) staring Robin Williams. Primary shooting was done on a Panavision UltaVista 35 but the 2nd unit used the Panasonic AG-DVX100P with the Anamorphic lens along with a Fizz follow focus rig setup to intercut special look shots. They transfered the footage to 35mm. I am still waiting to see the turn out but should be out on the silver screen's soon. If everything setup right, it's an amazing camera for the dollars.
Cheers

Hey CombatJJ

Thanks for the sacrifices you guys are making over there. I'm glad to see you have access to the net and can keep up with the news in the dv world.

An appreciative fan,

Re: Films shot with DVX?

The big questoin here is:

What is Bushes exit strategy? I heard about the mortar attack and yesterdays 9 soldiers shot down (Including a Ranger who survived the Mogadishu incident).

>:(

What the hell is going on!!??

Re: Films shot with DVX?

Don't ask me what his strategy is. We get mortered constantly over here. I can't wait to get back to the states. All I can say is that we wont be here too much longer ;D. I know that for sure.
