Hey, here's a 2 part tutorial that teaches various tips and tricks when shooting on location for a documentary, film, or even just your vacation travel video. Lots of great info on equipment used , camera, audio etc.

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8sr1CswWcE

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXWnCv_VUos

Also here is a music video shot on the Canon 7D that has computer generated enviroments in every shot. Everything except the actors is CG... see just how well the 7D holds up on a bigger production: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNMmTFqvlvg

Music video looks great Tom!

What codec are you using for grading and effects? Prores 422, HQ...?

Thanks a lot

Thnx! I actualy did all the post production on Adobe CS5 suite so i didnt need to conform the footage at all. Ive been working with the original mov files that come out of the 7D.

Thanks for the reply!

I've just got CS5 Master Suite so any info on how you use it - export settings, color depth settings etc., and so on would be greatly appreciated.

I also want to thank you for all your tutorials. They're great and have taught me heaps about filmmaking.
