Whats up everyone, my name is Sergio and I'm a filmmaker from El Paso, TX (just starting out). I came to L.A for the summer and I would really like to hook up with some filmmakers, DPs, DVX enthusiats anyone here who would like some help with a film/vid/project or would just want to get together to talk about film making in general.
You need a passionate and devoted AP? I'm you're man. I don't have much to offer in terms of experience, but I make up for it by being a fast learner and being commited to a project, it's vision, and direction (I would expect the same; give and you shall recieve).
I'm most interested in short films and independent filmmaking, what techniques are being used, smart budget saving moves. But really any project you're working on, I would be more than happy to help. If you don't need help but wouldn't mind an observer, that's cool too. I promise, no dumb questions and no interfering, there's a time and a place for everything.
And any suggestions of where I should go to (websites, places here in L.A) where I can find others like myself who are interested in networking and working together, I would more than be grateful.
