Hi Everyone! After about 6 months of development, I'm excited to announce that Austin has a new Coworking office made specifically for filmmakers, photographers and videographers called Createscape coworking. You can check out our site here:

createscapework.co

We'll be hosting workshops, happy hours, and socials, and also have discounts with several local rental houses and studios. Since we're brand new, even if you don't live in Austin, I'd love to get a discussion going about ways that you guys think that filmmakers can benefit the most from coworking and what kind of services and perks you would want to see at a coworking facility designed for you.

Thanks!

Jensen

Seems neat. My initial thoughts are that meeting room hours should roll over. I wouldn't personally have 5 hours of meetings each month, but instead maybe 20hours a month, every four months. That makes more sense with preproduction being full of meetings.

Coworking is a good idea, but for me personally I imagine it as a source of procrastination. Sure, I get lonely writing by myself every day, but I do get work done that way. A community vibe is very appealing, although it seems like it'd only increase productivity for certain types of people doing certain jobs. Probably who it's for.
