Filming models w/ green screen

Hey guys and gals,

I'm going to be shooting some models (plastic models of a space station) early next year and I'm looking for some research material on proper lighting and using green screens with models. If you guys/gals have any reference material, sites, books, forums and the like I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Make sure the green screen is evenly lit.
There is a video DVD tutorial for SFX compositing/green screen and tracking markers on green screen out there.

Here you go. - This one does not apply too much stress towards lighting, but does deal with green cast reflections on your subject.

Thanks for the speedy reply DJDecay. I've watched the hollwood camerawork dvds you suggest. I was hoping to find something geared toward shooting scale models and such. Regardless, the instruction in HC is sound for all accounts.

Thx

For the greenscreen , as said before light evenly , get as much space from the screen and the talent (or models) as possible. Light screen and talent seperatly. Pick your back plate or background that you will composite in later before you shoot anything, that way you'll have a better idea on how to shoot the talent. Also I love Key Correct Pro's smooth screen filter to make a better key.
