Filming in room with windows

I'm filming some scenes in a room where there are tall windows on one of the walls. Do you guys think I should use that as my keylight? Or I can close the blinds and use my lights, all I have is cheap construction lights i got a home depot

is it a day shot? Try and use some sunlight. Perhaps bounce those lights off foam board and use them for fill. Observe how the room naturally looks and work off of that.

Daylight windows will give you the most light, and you can use your construction lights with CTB filters to fill if necessary.

Where the ket light is set will depend on how the action is blocked within the room. So - use the window light as the brightest source, even if it's not the key.
The window can be a backlight or 3/4 light, and you can use the work lights as a key. I think it would look more dramatic this way. But again-it's all based on the blocking.
