Filming home walkthroughs/ virtual tour

Have been asked to film a few home walkthroughs and wondered if anyone had any experience of this. The idea is to literally walk into a home all around it and out again with a view to showing the place in a positive way so people would get a good feel fro what a place is like.

I will be using a dvx100b and have access to a steadicam merlin. Any suggestions in how to get the best out of this/ things to watch out for?

On a trial run my conren was the lense made everything appear quite close to the camera - which suddenly seemed like an issue for a walkthrough.

Any feedback most appreciated.

Would definitely get a wide angle adapter. Would only use the merlin if you have alot of practice, and the vest will make your life easier. Handheld stabilizers can make some decent footage but they are very tiring to use extensively.
