Filming at a high school

Anyone know of a high school (or middle school) in the Central Florida area that would allow a crew to film a short film on campus on a Saturday? It won't show their students, it'd be our own cast. The school would receive credit in the short for their cooperation. If you know of any schools willing to participate, send me a PM or post the school and how to get in contact with them.

I've been in contact with a few different schools so far, and been turned down. So I'm just trying to widen my search, and don't know every school in Central Florida. One person didn't even talk with us in person, when we went there, and denied us over the phone. My friend Tom and I went to the school to talk in person with her, and she refused to see us in person.

Generally, unless your willing to pay, schools can't afford the liability. What about the school do you need that you can't create elsewhere?

If its establishing shots you might be able to get those, shoot first and ask questions later...

Communities are vey nervous about people with cameras around schools.

the scenes take place in a cafeteria and a school hallway. so i came up with the idea to film at another college other than full sail where i'm currently going.

go to the film commission. no way would the schools let you do this. they need to get the call from someone above them.

Find a kid that goes to high school in the area. Pay him to ask the principal (or whoever has the most authority) if he can shoot a little film in the school after school one day. Get him to get her to sign some paperwork. Then, move in and do what you need to do.

Sure she'll be stunned, but you will have the paperwork on her.
