Film to Shops.

[DavidG]

Hi guys, I was wondering, how would someone go about getting the film into shops by themselves without a distrabution company? Or is it even possible?

Thanks. DG.

Large chains have buyers. You deal with them. A lot of buyers shop at industry trade shows. You go to those. Get ready to reach for your wallet.

You least expensive route, is market you wares online. Such as: http://www.theore.net

They're selling product that's not even shipping yet!

Check out " The Complete Independent Movie Marketing Handbook" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/09...lance&n=283155&tagActionCode=claritypictur-20 )

I interviewed the writer on one of my podcasts. Hes very informative and the book gives some great ideas.

I also just interviewed Stacey Parks on my latest podcast. She is heavily involved in sales and distribution. She had some great stuff to say too. Listen to the show at www.filmmakingcentral.com
