Film Titleing and Credits

I noticed that Vegas has the ability to add Titles and Credits to your project, but from the little that I've seen, they are not the best looking titles.

Is there an Independant piece of software that is Great at making Titles and Credits ?

Or is there a nice plugin for Vegas that can do it?

Vegas 5 comes with Boris Graffiti LE. It's complicated to learn, but it makes for very high-quality titling.

In any case, even without a plugin, you are not limited only to the Vegas presets. You're pretty much free to create title styles to your heart's content, using combinations of text cards, 2D and 3D track motion effects, transitions, coloration and texture effects, etc..

Great advice no doubt. (I love the credits in Napoleon Dynamite), but since I am gonna be applying them to an incredibly simple project. I want super simple credits. Simple White lettering on Black background, with that usual roll credits look.

It that a separate program?

Or is it a setting that is in Vegas 5 Full edition only ?

It's a separate program but it works within Vegas, and it only comes with the full version of Vegas 5 (if you mean opposed to the demo).

Re: Film Titleing and Credits

I agree with David. Vegas can do some wonderful titles. Also consider using Photoshop (or similar).

Re: Film Titleing and Credits

Don't forget Flash, Bluff, Cayman Graphics, and the Generated Media Credit Roll. All work great for this function.
I don't know why more folks don't realize how creative you can get with Vegas and titling!
