Hi dvx users my name is Lodewijk. Hailing from the Netherlands I joined a couple of days ago to get some insider tips.
I see this even more of an community then I expected so I here I am giving a proper intro
To be to the point I graduated Audio Visual Design a year ago in Rotterdam and now want to work for any of the many retarted advertising company's in Amsterdam to get my bills payed and open up time to do my own projects. These project have a to wide of a range to discuss here but i'll tall you a little about what i learned in Art School in Rotterdam while getting my degree.
I started out with an old DV cam but bought the GH1 the moment it arrived in my country. I usually recorded with some Lavalier mics and a H4N zoom and Edit in Premiere Pro while also have been tought in Final Cut 9.0 and Vegas (homeschooled, spelling?).
I have been editing for my feature film making dad since I can remember, prolly like 8 y/o
And have a vimeo channel featuring my old school assingments and latest adventuring conquests in the USA and soon Canada.
Im thought in some of all trades witin A/V production and want to brush up on them all obviously. My grading is nowhere to be found cuz i don't know how to do it (don't worrie im gonna watch some youtubes before i'll ask questions about it). I don't do motion grafix, i'ma just gonna leave that to someone else. And although I just a DSLR to film, my analog camera skills are somewhat scetchy. But as you can see on my vimeo i can still get a decent picture to the screen.
Joining a forum and sticking with it seems like a good thing to do. Is this a good forum to do it with?
It's very much likely so Hey to you all!
And I hope to see you around here!
Thanks for reading,
Lodewijk
P.s. I had a gopro and an AR Parrot, untill the Parrot flew away over the Pacific......
