Hi Guys,

Any suggestions for film props? I need some really wicked looking knives/scabbards.
Possibly some guns as well.

Thanks.

Mark

Knife catalog?

I really don't know what would make objects be props, other than the fact that your actor uses it while on screen. Do you mean rubber or springloaded knives?

Yeah. I'm reffering to a safer material like a polished plastic. Less expensive and safer.

Thanks for your suggestions.

There has to be a good property house (or many) in LV, given all of the shows they do there. Isn't there any kind of LV industry website, or something for the mayor's office of TV and Film, or something? In NYC, the mayor's office site has listings of that kind of thing locally.

I was watching chappelle's show and they had these knives that when you push on them they go into the base, making it look like it goes into the persons skin. I saw it like a year or two ago and havent been able to find them since. Would love to know if anyone knows what kind of knives they are.

They were probably really cheap novelty knives you can get at any party store. In response to the orignal post, never underestimate the power of antiquety shops.
