Film Production Tax Incentives?

Does anyone know of an online list of film production tax incentives by state?
I'm doing some research - and it would save me a lot of time.
Otherwise I'm having to do the search state by state....

...ugh.

Lewis did you need info outside of Texas?

From the Austin Film Commission website:

"The State of Texas offers tax exemptions for equipment and services necessary for the production of commercial projects. Just complete a State of Texas tax-exempt certificate. No hotel tax is charged for any stay at a hotel of 30 consecutive days or more. This includes state and local tax exemptions."

From the Texas Film Commission website:

http://www.governor.state.tx.us/divisions/film/incentives/miiip.htm

http://www.governor.state.tx.us/divisions/film/incentives/salestax.htm

If you need other states checked just let me know, I'm bored out of my mind at work lol.

Yeah, I'm looking for info on all 50 states.
You really are bored out of your mind, huh?
:)

Thanks for searching out that link - even if some of that info is out of date, at least all the links are in one place.

Luis -

Read my thread on A Lonely Place For Dying. I list a company that helps convert soft money into funds for your film. They have access to a book that lists every tax incentive on the planet.

They break it down country by country, state by state and territory by territory.

Also, call the offices of the AFM. They held a conference at least year's AFM about tax incentives. The AFM and the corporation sponsoring the event handed out the book I mentioned above.

If you get your hands on this it will save you a ton of time.
