It's a commedy :) not going for an extreme look, something natural. So no CSI / crime scene look for this film :)

Just shot another flashback scene today. This one turned out pretty well and is very very funny. Our poor actor got nailed with paintball after paintball for this punch.

For those who like stills, here it is with the story, captions will be above image to explain circumstances:

" There will be no shooting in the crotch. You can only shoot at a target that is at least 10 feet away. It is forbidden to remove your mask.
Does everybody understand?"
paintball01.jpg

" YEAH "
paintball02.jpg

" Pull down your mask, and GO "
paintball03.jpg

" Howcome I don't have a gun?"
paintball04.jpg

" We don't have any left...."
paintball05.jpg

" Here, use this "
paintball06.jpg

He reaches in to fill his hand with broken paintballs with runny paint.

The whistle blows and our character gets fired at.

Some more stills from today.

Unfortunateyl, since having removed my Letus Elite, and putting it back on, somehow that changed the focal distance ever so slightly to the GG, which made my canon preset focus distance ever slightly off of the GG. Making everything we shot today soft... God damnit. The first time not having an external monitor really screwed the shoot.

I like the theater shot except that that green light is hitting everybody at an odd angle; some people have it, some don't and when they stand up the effect ends up looking unnatural and I'm very conscious that there's a light off to the side.

we put some green through a cookie to give it a sort of spectacle look. We aren't sure yet what kind of show we want to make it, its up in the air for now, but when sound is added hopefully it will help sell the visual.

Thanks for checking it out!
