Film Flashes with your 35mm Adapter

So everyone wants to have those classy "film flashes" in their projects now. I have a makeshift solution for those who don't have some 16mm they can shoot or $500 for some artbeats footage.

If you have any 35mm adapter, just turn it on (spinning/vibrating) but don't put a lens on. You need to turn some lights on in your home (regular practicals work fine) and then just swing your camera back and fourth. I did some simple quick tests earlier and found that it will definitely work, but will take some practice to get the pacing down.

Tips:

- Use the 5600k preset with 3200k light sources.
- Have areas of dark and light you can pass by horizontally.
- Have one blown out spot to finish the flash on when cutting.
- Gaussian Blur in post.
- "Screen" compositing mode works best for me.

Go fourth and experiment.
