This section is for discussing commercial, theatrically-released films or first-run films on the streaming services.
Indie films can be discussed as long as they're in actual distribution. Films made by members should be posted in the User Films section.
Please keep in mind the following:
Start a real discussion. Don't just start a thread about an upcoming film and say something like "looks good." Provide some meat and say what you think about the film's content.
Don't threadcrap. If someone posts about a film and you don’t like it, feel free to state your reasons why you didn’t enjoy it. However, don’t come and just say "it sucks" or "I hated it" or "I hate [the director, actor, etc.]." Make your case, then move on.
Don’t register under multiple user IDs and then proceed to have a conversation about a film with yourself. Ever thought of doing this? Sound crazy? It is. Don’t do it. We will find out and ban you.
The main Forum Guidelines and the Eight Ps still apply. We do not do politics or religion here. Please do not discuss, and especially do not argue about, the political or religious content of films, even if that content is the point of that film. We have a very low level of tolerance for skirting the line here, so don't get a thread closed because you couldn't hold back.
