Tell your friends This Monday, the Composer's Collective is organizing a happy hour hangout to booze, schmooze, and have a great time not composing. Bring small bills and business cards, as if you don't carry business cards everywhere you go in LA. Feel free to bring friends, as it will be a casual get together...just don't forget to warn them that when composers get together, there will be the inevitable talk about gear, music, and industry.

Location:Weiland Brewery Restaurant 400 E. 1st St.Los Angeles, CA
You can get garlic fries, onion rings, quesadillas, buffalo wings and other greasy appetizers for $2-4 each, and there's excellent beers on tap. The house beers are about $3 a glass.
We'll be there at 10pm, come by anytime to hang out. It's less than a mile down the street from Disney Hall. Parking in the lot is usually free a little after 10, when the parking attendent leaves. If not, there's plenty of free street parking.
