Hi, Im a happy Zylight user who owns both IS3 (as Main light) and Z90 (as on cam light and back light)

I find myself need a cheaper solution for some fill light, portability is the main concern as I travel a lot.

Ill be mainly using a combination of these lights for interviews, and some run n gun docs

Thinking either get a Lowel Blender or Litepanels Croma, but the prices are pushing me away (Z90 and IS3 was an accident buy, but never regreted : ) )

or even just a Lowel Prolight

plus some color gels

I think its better to have some self powered devices to work with as I hate taping cables on the ground which takes longer to setup.

I need a couple of them. Ill also be using them to light underexposed backgrounds sometimes.

which do you guys suggest ?

LEDs are nice, but the price of the Prolight is great. They're bright little lights for backgrounds and highlights. They won't take a beating as well as more expensive tungsten fixtures, but if you take care of them, they'll serve you well for many years.

I own Arris and Kinos, but I always make sure I have my Prolights in my kit.
