I have a tv commercial shot on the varicam and edited in FCP. I need copies of the final masters to be in an uncompressed PC format (AVI/Quicktime) files that can be used in Vegas 8. The editor says that they are having a serious problem doing this task. The files that I have received so far give a 2048 error.
Is turning a MAC based file into a PC based video file difficult to do? Is there a simply export to AVI option?
