FigRig with Letus35 Extreme?

If you can hold a Letus Rig on a Fig Rig, I'm envious of whatever program you're using for arm strength. I would think you'd need a chiropractic adjustment afterward, there's no real balance like in a Steadycam-ish setup. Not only that, I think the Fig Rig is the biggest piece of hype in the gear market.

There are a few using Glidecams I believe with the LEX - you may want to just hold out and see if there's not a better way to set up for a 35mm rig.

That's true. I mean if there is some way to stop the vibrating then I may just keep the Glidecam. I'm going to test some things out this weekend and see what works best.

Like I said in another thread, It is not the GC. It is LEX nor firm enough.

Do you have on rails?

Is it firmly secure?

Does it vibrate on a tripod?

It is not on rails unfortunately. I had a rail system but it was no good, so I'm getting a new one. It doesn't vibrate on my tripod.

Ditto. The first time I saw one I thought it was a steering wheel that someone removed from their car. I checked the price after and was shocked to see that it costs $300! Absolutely ridiculous.

A Figrig is not really a stabalizer, certainly not on the same scale as the glidecam. The fig rig was developed so you could mount all your accessories (microphones, lights etc) to the ring. It just so happens that using it helps keep the camera steady.

The only real way to stabalise your camera would be either another adapter or a bigger steadicam. I fly a 35mm adapter rig on my Flyer all the time and its fine....
