Fighting - Laziest movie title of all time!

I laughed out loud when I heard this movie title. FIGHTING. That's it. Come on, man! Pornos are titled more creatively. Here's the trailer--

I got another one. How about a low brow comedy about a guy that is constipated? It would obviously be called "Sh*ting".

Or, how about a horror film about several people locked in a room for a month. The only way to survive would be to eat the other people trapped in the room. I think I'd call this one "Eating", or it could just be the next Saw.

Of course, there is also that new Nic Cage flick out now with the generic title of "Knowing", which when I went to the theater last night the title on the marque said Knowin'.

I think that the title Waiting works just fine for that particular film. Even Knowing is okay I'd say for that recent film as well. Fighting just sounds lazy. How many films have there been with lots of hand to hand fights as well as all the boxing, street fighting, and martial arts films made?

What if Die Hard or Lethal Weapon had the title Shooting? That is what this title makes me think of. Also, the JCVD film Lionheart seems very similar to Fighting in terms of the basic plot/premise, but with a cooler title. Maybe not the best title ever but at least one that is somewhat unique.

I don't know if anyone else here is into MMA, specifically the UFC, but I would have to guess they purposely picked him as the lead because he looks alot like Forrest Griffin...

Not really a bad thing. Lionheart was a fun JCVD flick. It also reminds me of the old skool brawler Streets of Rage 2.

I dunno. It still reminds me of that movie playing in Idiocracy called 'ASS', which was just a close up of a jiggling ass for 2 hours.

I agree that it is not that catchy of a title but one should still have to see it to judge it.
