I am looking to shoot a project with a lot of greenscreen work. I have 2 DVXs (so obviously I like them) but DV sucks for keying and I hate the latitude of my cameras and how they blow out highlights (of course, I have the original DVX models with no knee for the highlights like the "A" or "B'").
So, I am intrigued by the Reel Strams Andromeda DVX mod (www.reel-streams.com) with its 4:4:4 color space, 2 extra stops of latitude in the high end AND increased resolution to boot.
Has anyone actually done this to their cameras? Are you happy with the results? Was it everything you were expecting? How obtrusive was the work flow?
Thank you for your input!
