Has anyone seen the film Few of Us by Sharunas Bartas? I cannot for the life of me find a copy of this film. If anyone by chance has a copy or knows how to obtain one please let me know.
There was this French company GEMINI FILMS
Tel : 33 (0)1 44 54 17 17
Fax : 33 (0)1 44 54 17 25 gemini-video@
who were about to release most films by Bartas on DVD. They kept me waiting for 2 years (the announcement was posted on their site http://www.gemini-films.com/ a couple of years ago) but recently they told me they'd just filed for bankrupcy, so the rights to Bartas' films on DVD are up for grab again, which might means more years of waiting... I love his films, but I'm starting to dispair of ever seeing his films on DVD... If you hear otherwise, let me know. If we're dozens to contact them they might change their mind, or at least pass the requests to whoever is going to buy those rights back.
I saw Few of Us in Paris the year it was released, and in the weeks it was in the cinemas I must have seen it more than half a dozen times, it's just so unique. Keep on the quest.
Cheers,
Nic (UK)
