Its sundance/slamdance time of year again. Its been two years since I last submitted and the online screener
system didn't exist back then (as I recall).

How reliable is it?

Are you guys mail/fedex-ing you DVD screeners or using the online screener system?

edit: shameless promotion :) link to trailer for my submission btw !

I also was looking into the online screener option available, since its pretty new I haven't heard any stories from filmmakers, I am currious as you are what experiences are out there using that option.

I've used the on-line screener option in a couple of instances and even got accepted. So it works!

it's been in operation on reelport (a huge site for european/rest of world festivals) for a few years now and works extremely well! The quality on WAB is a little low but at least you know it got there and you know it is going to playback!

I typically use withoutabox and have never had issues. Although, there is something fun about physically mailing the DVD in.

Thanks for all the responses. I've been using the on-line screener method and it's working great. Good to see so many festivals accept this.

Tribeca, SXSW are the exceptions so far on the US side. Cannes, Berlin, Melbourne are not in although I just discovered Berlinale has its own on-line delivery system now.

There is a note on the site that Edinburgh is joining too in the next month.
