Ok, I have two questions that are driving me crazy.
I'm making a documentary in FCP and have used the DVX. We shot it in 16:9 SQUEEZE and we are editing it for a 16:9 DVD final output. Now, comes the first question. I'm working with Motion and Photoshop and doing some still work. I've created my graphics in Photoshop at 853x480 as Motion said to do. I've imported them into my Motion 720x480 SD project and then used the project in FCP. My first question is..."am I doing this correctly?" Am I suppose to make a custom project size in motion of 853x480 as well? The whole square non-square pixels seem easy enough, but are still very confusing when working with multiple programs.
And the second question. If I make these DVD's at 720x480 SD in FCP will they be usuable for festival digital projection? Will I have to reedit or will most festivals accept the DVD SD?
