I just finished editing this felliniesque movie. It's 83 minutes and was shot on HDV. I really love the way this movie turned out. Now I need to do a poster, a new trailer and find an appropriate festival for it.

If you can help me I'd really appreciate it.

1) I'd like to use frames from the movie with which to create the poster. Since initially I'm only interested in submitting the DVD to festivals and distribution, the size of the images isn't going to be an issue. I only have to design a DVD sleeve art. To get an idea of the scenes I need to draw on perhaps you'd take the time to look at the trailer:

2) What is the best program for me in which to create the trailer? I don't know Motion, but it's the only program I have. Should I learn Motion or can I cut the trailer adequately in FCP 5.04? What's your recommendation?

3) Finally, I'd really appreciate it if you could recommend a film festival that would be appropriate for an avante garde rock'n'roll musical.

1. - I think you could use the fairy shot from the street or something along that side to make the poster. The lady with the wings (fairy) I thought was interesting, she made me want to know more.

2. - A trailer can be cut in any editing program. So Final cut should be fine.

3. - Don't know any rock and roll type of festivals, but you can google some and even go to imdb. They have a small list of festivals. Also look up other movies like yours from say - two years ago. They may have links to festivals that they were in.
