Bag of Douche
I have never found anybody else who has heard of this film but I believe it to be a gem, when I first saw it, i said "If that's what you can do with a 35,000 dollar budget, mostly spent on production materials, then ....

And I sort of became a lot more interested in making movies

Check out the trailer here: http://www.feedbackfilm.com/fast/trailer.html

I'm just wondering if anybody else out there has seen this movie (I own it, and watch it from time to time, its truly a great film)

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

The trailer looked pretty good.

So what are your top 5?

Five isn't enough, so for the moment I'll say:

1) Apocalypse Now
2) The Godfather
3) Lord of the Rings (entire trilogy -- guess I'm cheating ;))
4) Kill Bill (Volume 1 & 2, cheating again!)
5) Casablanca

If you ask me next week I might say:

1) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
2) The Wizard of Oz
3) The Godfather, Pt.2
4) Star Wars
5) Pulp Fiction

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

If it was shot with dvx, would have been a lot more interesting. Was it? Sure looks like video made to be film. Tarantino said he needed only 35 grand to shoot Reservoir Dogs. Interesting...

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

What do you mean? Video exported to film or?

and my top 5 movies:

Heat
American History X
Taxi Driver
Feedback
Deer Hunter

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

Didn't Harvey Kietel give Tarantino 2 million to shoot Reservoir Dogs?

I heard he was PLANNING on being able to shoot it for 35 grand...but actually did end up having 2 million. I know *I'D* love to have 2 million for a movie!

Heck, I'd love to have 35 grand, too :D

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

Oh, and my Top 5 (in no particular order, and NOT a solid top 5, just 5 movies I really really like)

Wow, lots of Tarantino fans on this board. I'm impressed. 8)

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

Harvey did in fact cash out after the script has been passed on and on. Tarantino did say he could master it for 35 grand though i wonder how that would turn out.
They shot Spider Man with $250 million.. Mike am i still in position to be a friend? Sorry for the mess.

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

LOL Definitely! *Why can't we be friends, why can't we be friends* (remember that song?)

hahhaha, no hard feelings, whatsoever! Let's talk some FILM! :D

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

Unfortunately at 2 am the only thing i want to talk about is bed! I am becoming glued to this board very fast. I haven't visited dvinfo in years. I should go check on them. Wonder how that Agus35/Alain35/mini35 adapter is coming along. Heh until next time...

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Annie Hall
American Beauty
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction

Re: Feedback : Personal Top 5 favorites

Five great choices! I'm still a little miffed that Annie Hall beat Star Wars for Best Picture in '77 though. Yeah, A.H. is great, but Star Wars was great AND extremely influential AND history-making.

Still a great list though. :)
