Feature Length Film - Bitrate issues

I have a feature length film (86 minutes)
3 deleted scenes
2 trailers
1 blooper reel

Once i get my DVD Architect DVD menu all set the size comes out to 5.1 GB.

Of course this needs to fit on a 4.7 gb disk.

When I click "FIT TO DISK" the bitrate drops down to 0.192

The Movie is at 6.672 bitrate - Everything else is 0.100 to 2.000 bitrate

I haven't burned it yet but isn't that 0.192 awful low?

Yes, very low. But, you can try it to see how it looks; if it's no good, you can go from there.

With that much stuff, though, I'd certainly be thinking dual-layer.

I can't think of a movie I've purchased in the past 4-5 years that hasn't been dual-layer. All those extras have to fit somewhere.

What I'm doing is just dropping the bitrate individually on all the extras, so the extras are so-so quality, but they fit and the movie is good quality. Seems to be the way to go.

Bigox, I had this before when I just had the film and it sounds like you didn't choose "recompress:yes" for the main feature if you don't see the bitrate dropping for it. If you make sure that it will recompress that too you, you should be able to just mildly recompress the feature and have everything look good.

You'd find that choice in Architect when you go to burn the disc, you look for the icons on the right side when you're in the optimizing box.

Every time I've tried burning DL discs they never play outside my computer.
