feature film sync issues

Okay, here we go: I shot on a T2i 1080p @ 23.976. My computer is 8 yrs old, so I did an offline (proxy) edit. My offlines were created in Streamclip with the following: .avi 436x240, 23.976. I cut the feature, completed effects, and exported an .aaf edl in After Effects. The online was conformed using Immigration script. Graded with Colorista Free and rendered a master .tga sequence. All my audio work was done back in Vegas using the offlines for picture. When I made a DVD putting my HD and the audio together, I noticed some drift. Going back to my master AE comp from which my .tga sequence came, I noticed that the timecode doesnt match Vegas in relation to shots. when I do match a part up, its fine for a bit and then ends up out of synce again. Any idea whats going on?

It was, but not on location. The entire film has been dubbed. The ADR was recorded directly into my offline timeline, so its in perfect sync with my offline. My issue is that somehow my master is different from the offline and appears impossible to line back up

Did you make sure that you used the same sample frequency throughout the project? The t2i records at 48KHz.

I did. I brought the tga sequences in Vegas just now and two of them match, while the other five exponentially drift out of sync with the offline video. If I can get the video in sync, the audio will follow

Yeah, that's strange. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. The only times I've ever experienced that kind of drift was once when the audio was recorded at 44.1KHz on the zoom and then again when my proxy files were incorrectly encoded at 44.1KHz.

23.976 is an approximation . Were your proxies done at 23.976 or 24000/1001 ?

How far is it off by the end? How long it the entire composition ?
