FCS2 on Older PowerMac G5 ?

I would really like to upgrade to Studio 2. My work has a good employee store with Apple. My G5 is a dual 2.0. How many others are running Studio 2 on a older G5 ? Any issues i need to be aware of during the upgrade ? I went to Leopard and had to go back to Tiger to get Compressor to work again.

Also can anyone tell me if i am eligible to upgrade my Studio since my License is a one time transfer since i bought my FCS second hand. Just curious.

well i used to edit on my PowerMac G5 1.8ghz 1.5gbs of ram pretty well. That was with the 64mb stock graphics card too. I could even do HD pretty well. I had to upgrade to a MacPro though because i wanted to get more into color grading and Avid which wouldn't support PPC. It should be fine though, specially if your shooting in SD. I do notice a pretty drastic difference with my MacPro though.
