Anyone experienced this?
I received my FCS 2 software from Apple on Friday. This is the fullblown studio, not an upgrade or an academic version. I installed the SW on My G5 Dual 2.0 w/o a problem, entering my FCS 2 Retail Registration when prompted.
After installing the SW, I booted up both FCP 6 and Motion 3 and dutifully entered my name and serial number again when prompted. Upon doing this the apps booted up fine.
However, I'm finding that after exiting a program, the next time I boot it up I'm again asked for my name and registration info. My info is always accepted, it's just that neither app seems to remember this the next time I try using the app.
For every app I'm using the same 'Final Cut Studio Retail' serial number that's on the front of the 'Installing Your Software' booklet.
Am I missing something here? I thought I'd ask here before calling Apple or re-installing.
