FCPX how to edit/transfer flies from Macpro RAID to home MacAir external daily?

I editing a documentary with about 700Gb of footage on my office macpro RAID (backed up to externals) and have just bought a mac air for additonal after work home editing, FCPX installed. I have a home and office set up with 2 Voyager Q docks I can use with HD's to use as external for the Mac Air. Query is whats the best way to keep working with same events/projects back and forward? I was thinking of just working with one TB HD and take home daily for dock to my MacAir? Will need allmy files all the time. Anyone using Chronosync ?

I'll leave others to comment on duplicating projects.

But I can heartily recommend Chronosync, been using it for about 12 years to sync between desktop and laptop for remote working on projects.
Uses unix 'cron' under the bonnet, so is battle tested.
But the simplicity of the interface and the ability to exclude, set rules and even delete multiple files across 2 volumes is brilliant.
