I just got a brand new Panasonic AG-DVX100BP and today I shot some test footage. I'm also running a brand new copy of Final Cut Pro 6. However, today, when I went to go import the new footage to capture and edit, I got this error, "Capture encountered a problem reading the data on your source tape. This could be due to a problem with the tape. Capture has been aboted and your clip has been saved." Weirdly, when I export the footage into iMovie, it works without a problem. I know the issue isn't the camera or the firewire cable because when I test out importing on my old camera I get the same error. This leads me to believe that it is an issue within Final Cut Pro 6. Does anyone have any ideas? I really appreciate the help.
