Hi all,
I'm putting together a short docu on the Bolshoi, and I have clips from several different cameras, including a few point and shoot still cameras with movie modes. Obviously the clips are all different sizes (1080, DV, VGA, QVGA, etc) but I thought I would use that to my advantage, stacking several together at times, a la 24.
My problem is, when I drag (say) a VGA clip into the timeline, FCP automatically resizes it to match the project, which is 1080.
Is there a way to turn off this automatic resizing? I've done a lot of googling, and I found one page that said you could disable this in preferences, but I can't seem to find that checkbox.
Thanks so much!
Paul
