fcp5 files to fcp6 exporting problem

[vincent.a]

Hello

I'd like to send some video file to a friend who use fcp6.
My problem is that he can't open the file that i exported with quicktime movie.
I send the file via Filezilla if it can be a problem?

I'd like to know wich is the better conversion to convert my files from fcp5 to fcp6

thanks
