first time connecting my brand new DVX-100a via firewire to my g4 1.25 PB, and FCP4 won't recognize it, even the mouse turns funky (skipping across the screen), a project won't load, and i get the spinning rainbow circle o'death (RCOD).
then i unplug the camera, and presto, RCOD disappears, project loads, and everything's fine.
under the same set-up, i logged and captured a bunch of footage last week with a GL1, and i've trashed prefs, repaired permissions, etc.
as it's my first time connecting, i'm hoping i'm just missing something.
