FCP4.5, Clarification on 30P Sequence Timebase

I need clarification on the 30P editing, I use FCP4.5 and the DVX100A.

I believe shooting in any mode means the tape is always recording @60i (29.97).

For 30P, I set my capture settings to DV NTSC 48KHZ. Where I don't have a clear understanding is when it gets to setting up the Sequence Timebase. should I leave it to 29.97 ? or perhaps change it to 30P. Also because the footage is progressive should I set the Field Dominance to none.

My end goal is to put the footage on DVD and a preview on the web.

Any assistance on this will very much appreciated.

My understanding is that 30p actually is 29.97p (just like 24p is 23.98p ...) So I would set the sequence to 29.97 with field dominance none (which only matter's for stuff that needs rendering, so you put it on none to make sure rendered transitions etc don't have fields)
