Hi, I'm now working on a new 2014 IMAC 27" i7 3.5 GHZ 8GB HD 512 Gb Flash GeForce GTX 780M 4GB.
The computer is connected to a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Express unit through a Thunderbolt cable and Ultrastudio to a SONY 39'' HDTV
through a HDMI cable. The .mov files on the internal Quicktime reader are OK but output video quality on the TV screen
seems no good to me: the image is softer than usual (even considering it's coming from a 5d mark III ) and I can see a certain amount of aliasing and moire.
No difference between Apple Prores 422 converted files and H.264 files straight out of camera. Titles on the TV screen are not good too.
I've tried every possible setup both in FCP X and Ultrastudio but it's possible I'm missing something. Thank you.
