Hey guys... I have done some research on this already, but maybe some of you have more insight.
I just bought the FC Studio.. installed everything. When I open FCP for the first time but it just closes itself. I tried the rest of the bundle, they opened fine.
I uninstalled and reinstalled FCP,
I did all my updates, including the latest version of QT, 7.1.5 and FCP 5.1.4,
I tried opening FCP from the Application folder instead of the dock.. hell I even set it to open upon log in,
My FC Express works fine,
I have plenty of HD space left (40+ G).
I only thing I haven't done is uninstall and reinstall QT.
I don't think Tech Spec is an issue, since the rest of the bundle opens up... but here's is anyways. G5 iMac, 1.85Gh proc, 1G ram, Tiger OS. Is it a graphics card thing?
I should mention that it was previously installed and registered (under my name)on my laptop and it works fine.. though a bit slow. On my iMac I cancelled the registration halfway when I realized that I had the wrong email... that was as close as I ever got from opening the thing.
Any thing would help.
